Skye & an Interview

Posted By on Aug 30, 2012 | 1 comment

I am leaving the Isle of Skye this morning after less than 48 hours of sojourning within it. But I will never forget the beauty I have encountered here.

I’ll have to write about it, can’t help it. But for now, since I have to catch a train, I want to share an interview that I have listened to several times over in the past days. John O’Donahue was an Irish poet who wrote about what he called “the inner landscape of beauty.” His words have helped me to shape and express what I have experienced here in Skye.

You can find his interview here.

And here’s a glimpse of Skye from my B&B window. Full tour next post…

  1. Thank you so very much for the link to “The Inner Landscapes of Beauty” – a conversation that I will return to for its rich contemplations (and that glorious accent).
